Individual Consultation

Sexology support for teens aged 14 and up and adults who want to explore a concern related to their sexuality, relationships, intimacy or relationship with themselves.

For whom: teens aged 14 and up and adults, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or relationship status.
Process: a first meeting helps take stock of your situation and clarify your goals; following meetings are adjusted to your pace.
Duration and fee: 50 minutes, $115 per session.
Modalities: in person in Victoriaville or by videoconference.

Couple Consultation

Sessions to address relational, sexual and intimate issues experienced by partners and to better understand the dynamics affecting the relationship.

For whom: couples of all configurations and orientations wishing to work on their relationship.
Process: both partners take part in the sessions; the space is neutral and each person can express themselves.
Individual meetings within a couple consultation: when an individual meeting takes place as part of couple follow-up, the terms regarding information shared individually and its use in the follow-up are explained and agreed upon with the partners from the start of the process. The framework applicable to confidentiality and professional secrecy remains respected.
Duration and fee: 50 minutes, $140 per session.
Modalities: in person in Victoriaville or by videoconference.

IVAC Support

Rachèle Labbé is an approved service provider with IVAC and can support eligible individuals within the services authorized under their file.

For whom: individuals whose IVAC file authorizes sexology follow-up.
Process: follow-up respects the number of sessions authorized in your file; the relationship with your caseworker remains your responsibility.
Billing: authorized sessions are billed directly to IVAC. A fee of $20.50 is charged to the client for each session, covering the difference between the individual rate ($115) and IVAC's reimbursement of $94.50.
Modalities: in person in Victoriaville or by videoconference.

Hormone Therapy Referral Letter

Support through the assessment process and, where applicable, the drafting of a referral letter for access to hormone therapy.

For whom: trans, non-binary or questioning individuals beginning a hormone therapy process.
Process: assessment sessions covering your journey, your needs and your understanding of the process; the assessment may take about 3 to 4 sessions, depending on the situation and the elements to be assessed, as well as the requirements of the professional or clinic receiving the referral.
Outcome: obtaining the letter depends on this professional assessment and is never automatic.
Duration and fee: 50 minutes, $115 per session (same rate as individual consultation).

Your pace

Consent and pace

You remain the person who decides what is discussed and when. Nothing is explored without your agreement: the pace, boundaries and needs of each person are respected at every stage of the process. This attention is especially important when a person has experienced situations of violence.

Starting follow-up

Assessment and intervention plan

At the start of each follow-up, one to five sessions are dedicated to assessing sexual functioning. This step helps take stock of your situation, clarify your needs and lay the groundwork for tailored work.

Afterward, an intervention plan is developed in collaboration with you (or with you and your partner), based on what has been observed and the goals you have chosen to prioritize.

Technological tools

Use of technological tools

As part of my practice, certain technological tools may be used to support administrative tasks or the writing of professional notes. Their use is governed by my professional obligations regarding confidentiality, professional secrecy and the protection of personal information. When required, the relevant terms are explained to the person and appropriate consent is obtained.

14 and up

Consultation for teens

Sessions with a teen aged 14 and up offer a professional, respectful and non-judgmental space, adapted to their age and reality, where confidentiality and its limits are clearly explained from the start of the process. The process starts from what the young person wishes to address, at their own pace.

Process: a first meeting allows for getting acquainted, explaining simply how sessions work and confidentiality, then clarifying what the young person wishes to work on. Sessions last 50 minutes and are offered in person in Victoriaville or by videoconference, at the individual consultation rate.

Parental involvement: a parent's participation is possible and sometimes desirable; it is discussed with the young person. The terms applicable to confidentiality are presented at the first meeting so the person clearly understands the professional framework.

In-person sessions take place at the Victoriaville office, in the Centre-du-Québec region. Consultations are also offered by videoconference anywhere in Quebec.
