Your IVAC file must authorize sexology support. The number of authorized meetings is determined by IVAC, and staying in touch with your agent remains your responsibility.

This support is for people whose file with the Indemnisation des victimes d’actes criminels (IVAC — Crime Victims Compensation) authorizes sexology follow-up, notably following a situation of sexual or domestic violence.
Meetings offer a confidential space where the person's pace, limits and needs are respected at every step of the process.
Billing
- Authorized meetings are billed directly to IVAC.
- A fee of $20.50 is requested from the client for each meeting, covering the difference between the individual rate ($115) and the $94.50 IVAC reimbursement.
- Duration: 50 minutes per meeting.
- Services are available in English and French, in person in Victoriaville and by secure videoconference.

Evaluation and intervention plan
At the start of the follow-up, one to five meetings are dedicated to evaluating sexual functioning. An intervention plan is then developed together, based on your needs and the goals chosen with you.

Follow-up
Meetings continue according to the number authorized in your file. Nothing is explored without your agreement, which is especially important after a situation of violence.
Use of technological tools
As part of my practice, certain technological tools may be used to support administrative tasks or the writing of professional notes. Their use is governed by my professional obligations regarding confidentiality, professional secrecy and the protection of personal information. When required, the relevant details are explained to the person and appropriate consent is obtained.
